Dear friends!
The Angela Vavilova Foundation was founded in 2003 to help children with cancer. I founded it in memory of my five-year-old daughter Angela, who died of blood cancer.
Over time, our activities have expanded. We’ve built the first hospice for children and adults in Kazan, which we called the House without Pain. The hospice was voted as one of the best in Europe. The motto of our work is "If a person cannot be cured, this does not mean that he cannot be helped."
We have a field service. In 2020, in several districts of Tatarstan, the first palliative rooms were opened to help rural residents.
The Foundation's team is building another hospice in Kazan, which would allow providing assistance to more people.
Over time, such hospices should appear in other cities of Tatarstan.
